There are many things in life that can bring a smile to my face and a warm feeling in my heart. Meeting a very cool and genuinely wonderful person is one of them. It is my pleasure to introduce all of you to the newest member of Pandora's Caja "La Guerita Caprichosa". La Guerita will be working on Pandora's Caja as our resident translator. Over the last several months I came to the realization that due to the growth of Pandora's Caja, and the types of information that we love to write about, that we needed a staff member that would be able to work on major translation projects. I happened to be talking to a very good friend about getting someone to translate for me, and the rest is history. (88 Ivories I owe you one! *HUGS*)
What I like about her bio the most is where she said, "The work that I do here with Pandora I consider a “love job” because I love everything about Chayanne and his music, and the more I learn about him, the more impressed I am with the man as a whole." I like that because that's what Pandora's Caja is all about. We do what we do out of love, love of Chayanne, love of music, and love of all of you. Please welcome her warmly.

Hay muchas cosas en la vida que puede traer una sonrisa en
mi cara y una sensación de calor en mi corazón. Conocer a una persona muy
fresco y maravilloso realmente es uno de ellos. Es para mí un placer presentar
a todos ustedes que el nuevo miembro de la Caja de Pandora "La Guerita Caprichosa". La Guerita va a trabajar en la Caja de Pandora como nuestro traductor residente. En los
últimos meses me di cuenta de que, debido al crecimiento de la Caja de Pandora,
y los tipos de información que nos gusta escribir, que necesitábamos un miembro
del personal que sería capaz de trabajar en proyectos de traducción más
importantes. Me encontraba hablando con un amigo muy buena de conseguir a
alguien para que me traduzca, y el resto es historia. (88 marfiles te debo una!

Lo que me gusta su biografía más es en la que dijo: "El
trabajo que hago aquí con Pandora me consideran un" trabajo de amor
"porque me encanta todo lo relacionado con Chayanne y su música, y cuanto
más aprendo acerca de él, el más impresionado yo estoy con el hombre como un todo. "Me
gusta porque eso es lo que Caja de Pandora se trata. Nosotros hacemos lo que
hacemos por amor, el amor de Chayanne, amor por la música y el amor de todos
ustedes. Démosle la bienvenida a su gusto.
Let's see... what to write about myself? It really is my least favorite
thing to do. I am much happier expressing other people's words... maybe
that is why I became a translator/interpreter! I'll just hit the high
points. I have a beautiful family, including a wonderful husband and 4
great kids, with another on the way... I am a gringa but my fascination
and love of the Spanish language started at a very early age. I have
been studying Spanish for well over half of my life, and while I won't
tell you how long that is... let's just say it has been quite a while! I stumbled into the field of translation and interpretation, and I knew
that I had found my niche, so I changed my major and graduated with a
BA in Spanish Translation. For my “paid job” I work as an Over-the-phone
Spanish Medical Interpreter, and I love my job. The work that I do here
with Pandora I consider a “love job” because I love everything about
Chayanne and his music, and the more I learn about him, the more
impressed I am with the man as a whole. I am excited to have the chance
to share my talents and help others to get to glimpse the man behind the
music as well!
A ver... qué debo escribir acerca de mi misma? Realmente es
lo que menos me gusta hacer. Mucho más prefiero expresar las palabras de los
demás... quizás por eso decidí dedicarme a ser traductora e intérprete! Solamente
les diré lo más importante. Tengo una hermosa familia, incluyendo un esposo
maravilloso y 4 hijos bellos, con otro en camino... Soy gringa, pero mi
fascinación y amor por el español empezó desde muy chiquita. Tengo más de la
mitad de mi vida estudiando el español, y aunque no les diré cuánto tiempo
es... ¡basta decir que ha sido buen rato! Me tropezé con el tema de la
traducción y la interpretación y supe que había encontrado mi nicho, así que
cambié mi carerra universitaria y me gradué con un título BA en la Traducción
del español. Para mi “trabajo pagado” me dedico a ser intérprete por teléfono
para situaciones médicas, y me encanta mi trabajo. La obra que hago aquí con
Pandora considero ser mi “trabajo por amor” porque amo todo de Chayanne y de su
música, y entre más aprendo de él, más me impresiona el hombre en su totalidad.
¡Estoy animada por tener la oportunidad de compartir mis talentos y ayudar a
otros a llegar a conocer el hombre detrás de la música también!
